I asked via Hyundai customer service about the availability of towbar for the GD i30, reply as below:

"Thank you for taking the time to contact Hyundai Customer Care and providing the opportunity to respond.
We can confirm that a towbar will be available for the current generation i30. It is currently going through ADR testing, we are expecting to have this part available by the end of September. "
