GD at Freo

I took a drive down to Fremantle today and took a few photos of the GD in a similar spot to where I took the ones of the FD.
I also took some photos of a big container ship that was just entering Fremantle port.
It was a top day weather-wise here and the drive back along the coast was very pleasurable.

I was actually thinking of this today. A nice set of alloys and some Continental tyres.
I must say though, it isn't at the top of the priority list but it has made the list.

For the price I paid I wouldn't care if it arrived on bricks!

When the supplied tyres are due for replacement I'll look into getting some nice wheels. Until then I'll stay being a tightarse

I think that is what Dave (DB08) thinks too.. But you can get some really nice alloys that will fit your existing tyres for around $100 each from BoB Janes or similar.

I pick up the car tomorrow. I promise some pictures will be forthcoming. At least whilst it is still clean

Saw a friend with an FD i30 hire car tonight that had the Trophy pack rims on it. Very nice! I think the metallic grey of those rims would go nicely against the white of my car. Just need to find some rims second hand.
