Yes, color is champagne silver..

Here is my first six months kilometers with my car..

Rims are 17" cheap alloys, but very strong (made for mitsubishi outlander etc.).. but those winter tyres, 205/50-17 continental contivikingcontact 5 was very expencive... or I just don´t have enough money

The grip of these winter tyres is absolutely great and also are very silent..

Those first pictures have been taken 7th january 2009 and then temperature was -24C (minus 24 degrees celsius).

In summer picture there is +26C.

My two girls likes a lot driving i30 with me.

My Friend asked last week that am I pissed off because my girls have better seats than me.

I told him that when my girls are older and some guys asks them out to cruising, i can tell those guys that my girls never used to sit on the regular car seats..

Here is so cold that you do not want to use time for that

It is my first winter with my i30 and I am very happy how it works and is warm car inside. I have not have any problems with starting etc.

Does you have ESP on your car?

If yes did it help with traction on the snow?

It did with mine when we had that bit of snow in early February.

It did with mine when we had that bit of snow in early February.

Yes, in this 115hp version the ESP is in standard, and it is great, you do not have to worry if the road is little slippery you can just drive and enjoy.. and if you like to drift with your handbrake, the ESP makes the corrections that the car won't spin.. But you can not trust that ESP fixes everything

But it is great assistant, Like the brake assistant is.

Now my korean tool has new summer wheels.

I decided that the wheels still should be smaller than winter wheels, because roads are here better at the winter time than summer. So I forget 19" alloys and bought just 16" alloys

I haven't seen anyone yet, that would have bigger rims in the winter, but ok..

They look smaller than 16 or is it just because the spikes don't go all the way to the edge? Isn't it usually better to have smaller/narrower tires in the winter? I would have 16 in the winter and 17 in the summer, but it's your car 8) I believe that with 17's you feel bumps more than with 16+s, but if you had 16's in the begging I would say great, but when you first "give us" 17's than 16's in summer, it makes me a bit sad

Winter time we have here a lot of snow and ice and roads are cleaned good so those are great to drive, but in the summer the roads are very bad condition..

Here is the other wheels I was thinking... these Brock 19" alloys had same prize than those 16" OZ chrono magnesium wheels... but these roads would broke those 19" alloys soon I think.. so I selected 16"... and one point is that 19" tyres are little expencive

Sounds like a different world over there.... Roads are better over here in summer..

and 19" wheels usually cost a lot more than 16" wheels (depending on brand of course)
