Just had a letter telling me my local family owned hy dealers, Eastham Motors, will be no longer from 1 August.
Hy's long term strategy is to replace small dealers with bigger regional dealer groups and PLC businesses.
They will still retain authorised service centre status, carry out servicing, warranty work and order hy parts.
They will no longer sell New hy cars but will sell nearly new hy cars.
They are to be a local agent for Mitsubishi motors who wish to build up local owned dealerships.
The tv programme tonight, undercover boss, i'll be watching it to see if they make any comments re small dealerships being closed.
