Just bought a 1 year old 1.4 i30 active petrol.
I've been offered the obligatory 4 servicing contract at £24 per month for 4 years
(10% off parts and 25% off labour)
Is this good value ???  or is it worth just paying as required ?
I do about 10K miles per year

What you have to work out is in that 4 year period are you going to save that almost 1200 pounds in the discounts offered,me personally I can NOT see you saving that much,if it was me,with the miles I do I MAY benefit from a deal like that,I do a bit under 35000 K a year

You willhave 2 minor year 1 and 3  approx £120 to £150, could be more could be less!) And is an oil and filter change.

Years 2 and 4 are major, oil & filter, air con filter, brake and clutch fluid. Cost? But would guess over £200.

I recall hy uk offering 3 or 5 year service deal were you  pay now.

I would decline the offer. % savings on inflated HY servicing prices can best be offset, by supplying your own filters and oil.
