I've seen my FIRST i30 on the road today some 18 months after I bought mine. Was behind it on the motorway and following the i30 brought shivers to my spine. It was just like following mine as it was Stone Black
When you saw it did you hear this sound? Do you live in one of those town where everyone drives a Focus, Mini or Vauxhall or something? After "driving" through some UK towns in Google I was amazed how I kept seeing the same car again and again, Ford, Ford, Ford, Mini, Ford, Vauxhall, Peugeot, Ford, ...
When you saw it did you hear this sound?

I wonder !!!!!!!!!!! I have had a i30 1.6 CRD1 in black since March 1st and I travel twice a week from Leeds along the M62, M60 and M61 to somewhere near Bolton. Over the past week I have since at least one black i30. So rare to see one.And can anyone tell me how to upload a photo of my i30 onto this website to go along with my details.

Once logged in there, you can upload your photo(s) and they give you links which you can paste directly into a post on this club. The link(s) will look like but will show up as a picture when viewed
What does the M stand for? and are they free of charge to use?here in Sydney we have both M & F designations the F are freeways no charge, the M are motorways and all have charges, used to be toll booths but most have been scrapped for electronic tags.

There are special rules which apply to Motorways regarding speed (maximum 70mph), when you can stop (ie, you can't, except in an emergency), what vehicles can use which lanes, and when, plus a host of other rules. Basically you can drive quickly and they are usually the fastest route between major destinations. Typical stuff for most countries but we call them Motorways. One or two actually have toll points, but folk avoid those points by using bypasses. Generally, they are free to use
Well, I set off for work earlier than usual this morning and reached the M61 sliproad at 06:50 (it's usually around 07:10). On the final road (A58) before I joined the sliproad I was passed by a black i30 and he was motoring. Jotted his reg down and checked while at work - a 2.0L Premium diesel March '08 reg. That makes it 6 sightings for meCommon as muck these things
