Cheapest new I30 is $22990 Best VW I can find is $25888 with 5k on the clock and 8 months rego. Also fails to mention the Golf's love of PULP, which would put a big hole in its better fuel efficiency.

Also fails to mention the uncertainty as to the durability of the 7 speed auto, which VW were dragged kicking and screaming to recall.
