Pay Pal scammers at it again, received Email this morning telling me there has been unusual activity on my account and our account has been limited and to remove the limit click on this link ----------- and confirm details and identity. Yeh right. I have Clam X antivirus and the scanning of the Email confirmed it was a spoof phishing Email.

Even better would be to delete your PayPal account, PayPal has had numerous data leak intrusions in the past and not a safe place to keep your credit details stored.

Same here . We use a card that we only put the amount the item cost. Unfortunately I think this Email was for identity theft.

Yes there is another bunch of PayPal scammers doing the rounds at the moment

And set up a PayMe account

Cash only, i don't like anything that costs $ & that can withdraw $ from my bank . so cash or nothing for me. that way i see how much i pay. had paypal once but found it had taken $10 from my account and had not bough online for ages. i think we are just lazy.

I like the paypal concept and the purchase protection offered. I wish I'd bought my Rolex with paypal, it would have been a simple matter to get a refund.

I have bought some dubious USB sticks and all were politely refunded by creating a dispute with paypal. Just need to setup your financial risk properly eg credit card or bank account with no funds in it unless a purchase is made, simple really.
