Well hello,

I've been lurking for a while and thought get its to,e to join. I live in Western Australia and have owned a hyundai i30 sr for maybe 6 months now and can say I still get excited when I have to drive it, especially at night! Hope to get some useful tips as I want to do a few things to it in the near future, speak soon!

One thing that the car is missing is a dual exhaust setup, why didn't they do it from factory? Madness. Hoping there's some help on here, y ah baldivis isn't far at all.

Why stop at dual exhaust. Intake and exhaust are an easy and effective upgrade. (If anyone asks i didn't tell you to do it haha)

Gotta be a little careful with it, need my warranty so can't alter too much. My list is tinted windows, dual exhaust, dvd headrests and powder coat the alloys darker

I haven't looked into dual exhausts but if you don't have the rear cut out like mine it's a fairly simple procedure done at a local exhaust shop, if you have the cut out then your now looking at an aftermarket rear bumper or possibly you know someone who can do a good job moulding a cut out for the opposite side.

Currently I've reinstalled the standard airbox so I can run some tests with different panel filters to see what gains are had from standard and losses compared to the ram pipe setup but this wont happen till after I get back from Singapore and organise a day in a mates workshop.

I believe you can upgrade the exhaust without affecting warranty as long as you don't change the headers.

Yeah ok, I'm a mechanic so can have a play and fit a lot of things myself. That'd be good news about the exhaust, it's off for a service on my next break so I'll ask then. I'll have a look at the induction thread now,...
