Hi
I've had my i30 CRDi for about a month now and it's been superb ............................... until this morning!
It's a 2010 1.6 diesel with 106,000 miles on the clock but this morninf the 'stop / go' stopped working and the ISG button is constantly illuminated.
I've pressed it several times but it won't go out.
Nothing else has changed. The weather is good, I have a good battery and the car warms up just as quickly as it did yesterday etc., etc..
Any thoughts?

Regards,

Slime.

Hi Slime, wecome to the forum.

There are numerous conditions to be fulfilled below which the ISG won't operate. It's not a fault as such.

Have a read here - maybe something there may be useful?

Being honest, I wish mine would stay off all the time instead of me having to disable it manually each time I start a journey. PITA

Heater, A/C, Low battery volts (not a bad battery) etc. anything like this + more, will disable ISG.
