One of my rear fog lamps has stopped working and I can't for the life of me figure out how to replace the bulb

Seems to be deeply embedded into bumper

Anyone done it before? its a 2011 FD facelift wagon

any help appreciated thanks  :)

Are you sure that's not a reflector?

On my FD the fog light was in the rear cluster.

Nope they are definitely fog lamps, had them both on when I first bought the car (i always do a light check) now only 1 side works

From the looks of it im pretty much screwed... Looks like a bumper off jobbie to replace 1 bulb :(

If you jack up the rear then you should be able to access from underneath, you might have to remove the lower clip on inspection panel.

Thanks for the suggestion. I had a look underneath with my torch and there isn't any access at all to the light assembly from the back

(judging by the ebay link) the light assembly is a closed unit anyway. Unless I can figure out a way to get the red plastic unclipped from the front I think im out of luck

Oh well

Are your rear wheel wells plastic? as mine are in the GD, if so you maybe able to remove the push screws from the rear well which should also give you access into the bumper.

Just a suggestion to follow on from the previous posts..

If the local scrapie has one in have a look to see if the rear bumper has been loosened and see if you can see the fittings.
  • 1.4 Petrol Active I'm no expert, so please correct me if
