Hi everyone,
I'm french, so there may be some spelling or grammar mistakes here and there.
We own a hyundai i30 first generation.
We've discovered recently that the mechanism enabling us to fold down the right rear seat is broken: the plastic "handle" at the top of the seat got loose and is now useless. In order to fold the seat we now need a stick or a screwdriver.
Any idea about the correct name of this plastic piece or code and a website where we could order a new one?
Thanks in advance for your help.
Regards,

Elodie

We are an international club so spelling is not top priority so long as we can understand the meaning.  Having said that your English s perfect and a million times better than my French.

I can't help you with this because I don't have a schematic image, someone on here probably will have though.  Maybe a breakers yard/car dismantlers.

As we are international we are not all online at the same time so you may have to wait a while.

good luck

I've got the same fault in my wagon.  The parts are listed I've checked so I'll  have  a look . You haven't mentioned hatch  or wagon?  Probably same part.

Do  us a favour post up what you find and the repair process  if you fix it
