I don't want to start a fight here, but Andy IS a Scot and the team he was referring to WAS England.
I remember the incident now and at the time I thought it was a pretty funny throwaway line. 
He wasn't dissing Britain. Just one of the states.
Like us Queenslanders putting sh/t on NSW.

The more you read about him the more you appreciate his directness and wit. He does a lot of good charity work by all accounts and supports his team mates in very humble ways. He's my favourite ATP man at the moment. Then again, Elena can't stand him.
