Hello,

Two days ago i decided to change 4 tires of my i30 (2011). After changing the tires the TPMS indicator turned on for some hours at the same time the car symbol which is usually shown on the driving gauge disappeared.  I mean the symbol in front of the gear indicator which shows if doors are open. Now the TPMS is off but the car symbol is not showing.

To be more specific, if i open any door, the car symbol will be visible again and it shows correctly which door is open, but when all doors are closed, it is not visible.
I took below image when all doors were closed.

anyone knows whats up with this car?

many thanks
Meysam

Mine does the same thing. I don't think it's a problem.

before changes the tires, the car symbol was showing all the time.

Note that the car symbol shows if any door is open, it also says something about tires (using the pressure sensor inside tires), though i don't think it is accurate.

I like that it doesn't show up unless it's triggered by a changed condition. Maybe you previously had a TPMS problem which kept it on and now it's fixed. I'm guessing because mine is free of TPMS and it normally only lights up when doors are open.

Previously it used to be like this: The TPMS light was off, the car symbol on the gauge was showing  a short line along each tire. I used to call this situation a "Normal" situation. do you mean this line along each tire is indicating a problem?

I just made below image to show what do i mean, sorry for the quality.

We really need someone with a TPMS model to say what normal is. I'm sure someone will be along soon. :goodjob:

My former i30 Premium was fitted with TPMS.

The car symbol only ever showed when a door was open or if a tyre was under pressured (don't have a pic of that)
