Setting up an account on some sites drives me nuts.
There is a preface stating “All items marked with a * must be completed”
You fill in :-
Your first name
Your family name
Your date of birth
Your address
Your Country
Your Email address
Your Preferred User Name
Your password
And then press next.
A warning comes up to fill in your County – which you do - then press “Next”
A warning comes up that this user name has already been used – please chose another
You fill in another User name
A warning comes up that this user name has already been used – please chose another
You do this several times until you succeed in finding a User Name that is accepted.
A warning then comes up “Your birth date should be in the format DD MM YYYY
You fill in your birth date in the required format and press “Next”
A warning comes up stating that your password should have a minimum of 8 characters
You change the password and press “Next” – when you notice that the form is now blank.
You curse and start all over again – this time being careful to use the required format and complete all the boxes including the 8 character password
A warning comes up that the password must contain letters and numbers with a minimum of one letter in capitals and a symbol
You fill in F*kU4x@2
A warning comes up that says the symbols */?@& are not allowed and the form goes blank
You give in.
