Hi everyone

just wondering I just bought a 2017 i30 pd non sr model would the sr heated/ac unit of the same year fit and work  if I replaced it

It might fit if fascia is the same shape though I doubt it would work without the required modules and climate control sensors.

Welcome Mate, whoops I mean Malttt..

Don't be too concerned with the more basic controls. From  my experience the more manual type heating and cooling set ups are easier to adjust and have less of a mind of their own than the auto versions.

For example my wife much prefers the set up in her 2014 i30 Active Tourer (wagon) to what I have in my SR or my Previous Holden Calais V.
  • 2021 MG PHEV ( had 4 x i30 plus a Getz an Elantra and a Tucson)

Fairy Nuff. Treat yourself to some stainless scuff plates or blue LED footwell lighting instead.  :idea:
