It's history now that Hyundai has won the first TCR series in Australia but the success of this new category is where the real news is.

8 marques with only the Subaru not proving competitive.

Mazda has just announced its joining the category for next year overseas but I reckon someone will jump on the bandwagon here.
MARC cars run Mazdas in other categories.

Also a new make has just arrived in Australia.  Some version of SEAT but I can't remember the name.
Got it Cupra. Think it has VW technology behind it.

Most races are exciting. There's been the odd procession but you get that in any category.
There's one more round to go in Oz for this year. At The Bend Motorsport Park in November.
