Sorry guys, but it looks like I'll be buying the Cruze. I just took the diesel for another drive and I pretty much made up my mind right there and then. It's funny how for all this time saving for a car I was thinking it would be the i30, and now I'm almost ready to buy one, I've fallen in love with another
Such is life I suppose.
Well now, it seems I'm in two minds about the Cruze and the i30 yet again. I don't think I could have picked two more difficult cars for me to choose from.
I've been thinking about it nonstop lately, weighing each of the cars' pros and cons in my head and I've decided to take the i30 CRDi for another test drive.
I love the Cruze but the fact that the i30 is an extremely reliable car, has an unlimited kms warranty, is the cheapest to insure and repair, and has excellent resale values (so I read anyway), makes me think the i30 is indeed the better choice. Hopefully this drive, which will be the last after about 5, will help me decide.
I had no idea choosing the right car would be this ridiculously hard. I mentioned all this to a friend and he said, "Why is getting the right car so important? It's all just four wheels, an engine and exhaust."
Right. 8)
