Hey, My 2013 GD is having its MOT next week and I was just interested in finding out if there is anything that will or may need replacing around the 6 years age. The disc rotors have been done previously but other than that the 2 previous MOTs have passed with no faults, so I don’t think anything else would of been replaced. I’ve only owned the car for 10 months but it has drove fine every time.

Mine is due it's 5th mot, 12 plate, mid may.

Although only got 26k miles on clock it has passed each year.

Last year it got an advisory on nearside rear tyre with cracking in tread.
Have checked at local tyre shop if it needs replacing and said should be ok. So leaving and see what comes up.

I get my local hy service centre to do a Hyundai eSENSEtials Service, choice of 3 services, which includes 12 months breakdown cover for free plus mot for £40.

It has failed on a leaking rear shock absorber, one thing I completely forgot to look for doh! I guess I should expect that with the pot holes.
Everything else was fine though
