I’ve noticed the lid on my centre console is loose.  Mentioned this to Hyundai today when I took for service and description on receipt is: found incorrect clearance in console lid.  Part ordered”.

Um, what?!?!  Anyone else had this issue and what exactly is it?  I’m going back next week for replacement (under warranty).  Will only take an hour to fix.

Good it's a warranty job. Wow! an hour seems a long time for a relatively small job like that!

First she said all morning but when I asked for a loan car, there were none available.  Luckily I have another appt down the road I can walk to and kill time.  I’ll report back next week as to the exact issue and what they did.

Cheers for that. Sounds like a whole new console. Make sure you get everything out of the old one.
