Advice please: clutch feels fine, 1st,2nd and 3rd gears select OK. 4th gear whines, and 5th and 6th gears are not being selected. Gear levers moves into position, but 5th and 6th don't engage. Any ideas welcome thanks.

I'm no mechanic, but best case scenario is that gear linkages need adjustment. The fact that 4th gear is whining kind of suggests to me that something more serious is wrong.
