hi, looking for info on my steering wheel controls, my cruise function buttons are regularly working in the wrong order and won't work at all till i've pressed the steering preload button, audio buttons are playing up as well and the airbag light comes on and off intermittently. i'm assuming there's a poor connection or fault maybe with the button's contact rings behind the wheel. question is does the clock spring unit behind the wheel incorporate the contact rings and could this be all that needs replacing and if so is it just a matter of disconnecting the battery to replace the unit and is there any hidden tricks i should be wary of, thanks in advance for the help
