Hello,
here are the modifications to be made to the rear of the dashboard radio / air conditioning console on a European Hyundai I30 FD to replace the cover with a glove box:

it is necessary to cut and file some plastic parts which were used to maintain the original cover.

At first, buy:
- a storage compartment (glove box),
 -4 U-type clips 12x19 (or maybe 13x20),
-4 self-tapping screws M5 15mm (or maybe 20 mm)

Necessary tools:
-files
-metal saw
-or even better a dremel

See the details on the photos of everything that has been filed to adapt the whole.
sorry I did not take a photo before modifications or disassembly of the console which is not easy because you have to force very hard with a spatula to be able to disassemble it
