Hi guys! Brand new to this forum but would love some assistance!

I recently realised that both of my license plate lights went out. I replaced both bulbs and still not working, which makes me think a bigger issue is present. All other lighting (tail lights, DRL, intererior lights) are functioning as normal, which I believe rules out a blown fuse, leaving me with either an open circuit or a short circuit.

My issue is, I'm not 100% sure how to access all of the wires that connect to the light housing, so I can't find the issue.

If anyone has had a similar experience, or could shed some light, that would be amazing!!
