Hello !
I have had some issues with my i30 with sudden cut outs... i believed it was contaminated fuel since it seemed to solve by changing the fuelfilter and
flushing the fuelrail ( removed pressure sender and cranked engine ) fueltank looks clean if i look into it from under the rear back seat, but hard to tell if there is water at the bottom.
anyway added an additive that should remove water in diesel and the car worked / ran well after that for a weeks.
Anyway now the car cut out again and wont start, i have the P0253 errorcode again. even though it should be free of water now, fresh diesel from big gas station that many uses with no problem. the deference in behaviour is i think i remember the fuelpump was always priming when putting into on position? it does prime maybe 1 of 5-6 tries now for just a short burst... i have tried switching the fuelpumprelay no difference, if i add 12v to the fuelpump directly it works fine.
My question here should not the fuelpump always prime for at least 1-2 seconds when putting the key to on ?
I did have some intermittent errors from immobilizer too, but those seems gone now after i replaced the key ring antenna.
and as i understood, a running engine should not cut out from immobilizer ?
now there are new errors codes that are more scary
p1661 persistent and c1611 as pending. and i belive that might be what causes the low pressure fuel pump not to initiate correctly.
feels like chasing errorcodes into hell....
any suggestions ?
