Hi all any advice greatly appreciated 👍👍
I bought my I30 about 2 months ago and the first two weeks it ran great with lots of power and pull.
Then the car became hesitant and low on power before accelerating. It started of intermittent and I was able to rev it out. The issue became more permanent and now the car just runs lumpy and inconsistent on power with poor mpg.
So I was advised to change the fuel filter which I did to a good one. No different!!
I then changed the MAF SENSOR and cleaned all sensor contacts no different again !!!
Went to another mechanic who spent some time on it and told me the EGR VALVE was sticking by this point the car was spluttering abit before warming so I was keen to try anything so changed the EGR VALVE...Which resulted in a slight improvement but very briefly.
The car has been plugged in several times no codes or anything for me to go of.
So any advice is greatly appreciated thank you 🙏
