I've just bought a Kia Niro Hybrid to replace my 2010 FD Manual Diesel Wagon.
13 relatively trouble-free years and 300 000km.
Car has averaged 5.3L/100km, 53.4MPG over that period.
I have only had to replace the turbo due to a whistle, the radio due to a power fault and the steering coupling in that time. The original problem of blowing headlights was fixed when I upgraded to LEDs.
Still 25% on original brake pads.
Unfortunately, with up to a 24 month wait for a new hybrid and no diesels being currently sold I have decided to grab the Niro second hand whilst it was available.
