The 3000rpm "annoyance" has arrived. Oh, and DriveShaft woes.

Evening one and all.

A few months ago, I bought an obviously hard driven i30 2011 1.6 CRDi with 126k but 2 owners.

2 months in, I decided to give it a a tickle and gave it a nice new Air Filter so it has a chance to perform like my GR Yaris lol.

Well, this Air filter has coincided with the triggering of this 3000 rpm issue. I don't think for one moment the air filter change has caused it, as it was like for like.

It seems driving it like a rental car and specifically cornering, it decides to cut in the 3000 rpm limit and doesn't give any dash lights. A quick pull over and switcch off and on, it clears it.

Guessing it's still a Fuel filter / fuel filter mounting issue? This however HASN'T been touched yet, so odd it's all of a sudden started doing it.

Also, Driver-side Driveshaft has movement pushing it in-out towards the gearbox and resulting in some horrific clonking when that wheel is leaned on and on rough road... known issue?

~Thanks all :)
