I have a 2023 nline Premium, with the worst Bluetooth telephone call quality ever…
When on a call, the voice transmission cuts out repeatedly whenever the other end makes any sound, making a standard phone call literally impossible.
The other party cannot make out what the car end is saying, it cuts out that much. If the other end puts their phone on mute, then the other end can hear perfectly what the car end is saying. It is almost as if this is a half duplex system, which I would find extremely bizarre in a 2023 model.
I have tried various phones (all iPhones), and tried via Bluetooth and the wired CarPlay. It is always the same symptoms. All of these phones work fine in other vehicles (other Hyundai, Toyota Landcruiser).
I will make contact with a dealer to get their take on this, but before I do I was curious if anyone else has this issue and if so, what was the fix? This cannot be normal.
