Our GD wagon has developed a slight grind noise during braking on the front left corner,
I figured that it must be a tell-tale disk scraper indicating a pad getting low, so this morning I jacked it up and unbolted the caliper to check.
Found - the scraper thingo was well clear of the disk,
- plenty of meat left on the pads, but the [single] dust groove was packed full of compressed brake dust,
- the pad has a part number of 132RDBA, and looks very much like a DB2240 [which has twin dust grooves]
Also found - although I thought all GD Wagons came with 300mm rotors - mine has 280mm!
- my knees don't appreciated grovelling around on concrete anymore

Can anyone confirm if GD Wagons were originally fitted with 280mm rotors - or did the mechanic get a bit confused when he replaced the rotors and pads a couple of years ago?
About to head back outside to scrape the gunk out of the dust grooves on all 4 front pads, put them back and see if the noise goes away.
