Took the new car out for its first extended trip today. Departed Sydney at 8am and headed west. Destination Unknown.

1st stop a little cafe at lithgow for a hot chocolate and a pie.

Then off to bathurst for the usual photo's on the track (A tradition of mine). Then we headed back to the big smoke, with a luncheon detour at oberon.

Overall the car was spectacular. Possibly one of the best cars I have driven. (and I have driven a few). I am more and more impressed with this car every day.

Sounds like a good drive they hold the road nicely on the 16" wheels....

Hey blawler, we should meet up one day in lithgow for lunch or something like that, go up on old bells line of road, or even go to wisemans ferry, some nice places to take the i30's with the hawkesbury behind it for photos

That sounds like a nice run. I am sure we can get a few.. Would be nice seeing a group of I30's running up the road...

On the drive today there was a Ford GT club running. THey looked nice. And they were all different models... The same look car would just look great.

i live at mangrove mountain, just off wisemans ferry road. bout 30 mins from the ferry at the river. Should have a cruz.

Hey, Bathurst circuit is cool place to visit. I have been there only in PC racing simulation games, but it is funny.
And white color suits to i30 well.
