You can use any battery you like that is the right rating and physical size... If you used  a larger more powerful battery and it caused your instruments to short out for example (unlikely) then the warranty wouldn't cover that .. but any mods you make will only void the warranty for the parts adversely affected and they have to be able to prove it...

Hyundai seems to be pretty fair in this regard (unless you damage your door rubbers by constantly rubbing against them when getting in and out .. long story  )

Now that would be an interesting question to put to Hy HQ.

They seen to very particular within the service book about using HY parts at service as the warranty will be void should an non Hy part contribute to the failure.
