Hi all,

It's coming up to my first anniversary of being an i30 owner and I still get butterflies in my stomach when I walk towards her! :-)

But I have a little question:

I have a piece of foam hanging down at the front of the car. It should be tucked in somewhere and I presume acts as some sort of padding but I have no idea how important it is or what it's really used for. I did take it to the garage and he put it back but it's down again. I'm in Germany and he mumbled something to me about why it was there and that it serves no real purpose but I didn't understand him properly. He said he'd just rip it off but I didn't want to do that until I was sure what it was. He is an official Hyundai dealer.

Do you have any ideas what it is for and if it's worth worrying about?

Any advice/ideas appreciated - thanks!

If pics are needed I'll get on to that later.

All the best,

Deegee  8)

Welcome to the club.

As above.
Throw it away as it serves no purpose.
It appears that it shipping protection and should be removed before car is handed over to the buyer.
