Would chrome door handle covers look lame on a silver i30? I was just surfing through ebay and came accross these:

I don't know if that link will work...But anyhow...What do you guys think? I was also keen on getting the sport pedals fitted to my i30 (manual) but where can you get them? I can't find them anywhere!!

Take a look here Nessa - http://i30ownersclub.com/viewtopic.php?f=10&t=512&start=0&st=0&sk=t&sd=a (though it's hard to tell if the grey car has chrome handles or not) - I think it's all a matter of personal preference - both chrome and body-colour door handles look nice imho - If it fits with your overall styling concept, go for it.

i think Chrome looks classy, take a look at a Aston Martin, they are silver with Chrome handles. i think chrome goes best with silver as it blends in. with a dark colour it stands out. depends what you like. they would look great on black too.

thanks for those pictures i30man, it gives me a rough idea what the car will look like. I think I'll just get them. It's not like they're expensive. If I don't like them I will just give them away or throw them out.

They will look good on a light colored car, I don't think it looks good on a dark color car.

They actually look good on the black i30. I wanted black but my bf reckons it'll get dirty or atleast look like its dirty. So I opted for silver instead, which I like anyway.

The only reservations I have about stick-on plastic parts are..

1. They don't always fit perfectly and personally it would always bug me if they weren't a perfect fit.

2. It's stick-on plastic!

...if they were real, proper chrome handles, that would be a different proposition altogether! But like I said,  styling is all down to personal taste.
