Welcome aboard.
5.1 seems pretty good to me. They reckon 4.7 combined but in the real world 5.1 is good.

Hi ho Hak, Welcome. 5.1 would be quite acceptable. I hope you're not too disappointed.

  • Sorry, but my karma just ran over your dogma.
Welcome hak. The best I get from my CW auto diesel is 5.8. You should be happy with 5.1.

Hi Hak welcome, probably would depend on a number of things, like road surface , type of terrane, quality of the fuel, weather temps, tyre pressure & if there is any wind, like driving into a head wind, also how much weight you are carrying in the car. Also the rev shift points you change gear at.
when i try, and if i'm in rural area i can get the economy that Hyundai say they get. but i really don't care day to day driving in the city, the reason i want good economy on trips is so i can go long distance without re fueling. when i drive my CRDi manual in the city all the time & i just drive it briskly it always sits around 5.2    5.3  & sometimes 5.4 but 5.4 seems to be as high as the average show's for me.
