Never really watched Heartbeat, so never seen the inside of the pub, and no - we did not venture in 
BTW, last year we booked a Sicilian Tour "In the Footsteps of The Godfather", no idea that it would take us to the location of that film - never had seen that film either 
We have now.

We had perfect weather tho' 
Listening to several comments from various travellers, on a good day the drive seems better 
Although, we intend to return, take the train during the snowy season and have the cream tea
