Has anyone got these or from korean auto imports before? Just want to know if they fit alright on aussie i30 (in terms of electrical wiring). Hopefully i won't be the first to do so..

Semi-offtopic: Has anyone had any success with korean imported OEM headlights? Want to know if those fit alright too. Will projection angle adjustments required?

As pretty and unique as they look, they will not be legal in Australia. There are strict rules governing what you can and can't do here in Oz. Member Rustynutz is very good at finding the regulations. (Maybe he was a librarian, once).

Hmmm which rules would that be? Are there rules about not allowed to fiddle with left/right turn indicators? Or you would think it'd be the DRL. I don't mind about the legality of these modifications but rather whether it'll get me pulled over by the cops.

I took one look at it and all I could see was blah blah blah blah blah.... :head_butt:

I don't think it pays to look up this sort of stuff late at night...  :scared:

Thanks Rusty, just wanted to demonstrate that there are laws governing everything we do here in Oz.  :goodjob2:

No worries, mate... :)

To cut through the bull, basically they have to have the ADR approval markings.
I bought some LED trailer lights a while back and I see even they have this.

Thanks for the reply rusty, looks like i'll give up the idea for now.. would it work if i get it engineered? Looks to me that the lights would comply with the rules but not approved.
