HI guys what sort Of Km are people getting out of there I30 and what should I expect KM wise before major work has been service per log book thanks Currently has 170,000KM

Never seen one worn out, but lots of cars for sale with 300tkm. One (I think it is old taxi) for sale with 500tkm. Some where between 200-300tkm you probably need new turbo.

I've seen up to 1/2 a million Ks so far.

Major work:  Items I've seen or heard of failing

Steering assembly/ angle sensor failure
Window mech clips snap
front arm bushes fail
sway bushes wear and become noisy
shocks, rears in particular
Read a couple of timing chain failures around 300000K
Valve bodies wear out in the autos, I'd be flushing it every few years

Maybe the odd suspension joint

Turbos maybe as the ks get really high but key here is regular oil changes, full syn. I do mine every 6months or 10K,

Sundiz above is correct,

tw has mainly listed what I regard as minor problems or just annoyance; the VB and chain are rare, most of the reports of steering assbly failure were due to Dealership blunders or rip-offs.

The 1/2 million Ks were miles!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Pom taxis come to mind.
