Hello,

Has anyone had the chance compare the 2.0 and 1.6 exhaust manifolds?
If it was a straight fit, it would be a very good performance improvement for the 1.6CRDi. You could take the manifold and the turbo from the 2.0 and fit on the 1.6.
With a remap, I'm guessing 150-160bhp would be perfectly fine.

That might just invalidate the warranty though  :whistler:

IMO, I think you would encounter difficulties and possible unreliability issues unless the turbo's were exactly the same model. The diesel pushes much more gas through the turbo, due to it's higher compression ratio.

I don't really care about the warranty at this point... my car has done 100K Km, 5 years, and 5 trackdays... so, if it goes pop... I'll have to deal with it! :)

Phil.,
Diesel modification is VERY common where I'm from, and Turbo changes, or manifold changes.... are very common with good results. So.. I just want to know if it a straight fit! :p

Cheers.
