Hyundai's new mini MPV, the iX20, goes on sale on November 11 with an estimated starting price of £11,395.

The car will be available with a choice of two diesel engines and two petrol engines.

Interesting how Alan compared his wife's new i10 favourably with the Toyota Yaris on another thread... I would have thought the Yaris was more comparable size wise with the i20...

We will be in the market for a car in this sector soon.

It looks better in the vivid blue. Shame they keep putting the trout pout grill on everything.

On paper though the ix20 diesel does not appear to be market leading in power, co2 emissions and looks pretty costly to me. It's about the same price I paid for my i30 taking in to account scrappage.

Would have to have the door protector mouldings, as it looks like its had an accident without them.

Guess you are meaning the ix20 Lorian?? Looks a bit like a Ford Festiva to my eyes but not as "pretty"

Talking of pricing.. I believe the new i20 is getting a bit expensive over here too compared to the Getz..which is comparatively good value.. and at only a couple of thousand A$ under the base i30 I know which car I'd have...(I don't think they will see as well as the getz (or the i30) over here

Prices are similar here too, but i see many i20s on the road. It's still a bit cheaper than competition and Hyundai climbed a level up.

I've seen several now. Another one yesterday.
My sister in law will be retiring next year and is looking to buy a new car. I have offered to help her in selecting (and negotiating) but I'm a bit nervous about the country of manufacture for the i20.
