I presume that it is OK to overtake on the wrong side in Russia. In the UK it is illegal to "undertake" other vehicles other than in some special circumstances. Several of the near misses in these videos are when the driver of the cam-car tries to undertake another vehicle. Possibly a good illustration of why the "No undertaking" rule makes sense.

well, "undertaking" from right is not considered undertaking if a driver doesn't change lanes
if a driver changes lane in order to outrun a car ahead and he returns to his lane afterwards - this is considered overtake in Russia

have never been to any accident, have never been charged for breaking road rules (have been to Finland for many times).
If your local rules don't specify what overtake is, it doesn't mean other countries are like yours.

Some may type it down into a Google translator
