This video was taken few days ago. The guy in front really was slow (going 60-70 km/h, where the speed limit is 90 km/h). I decided to drive behind him till it would be okay (permitted) to pass him. I passed him 2 sec after I stopped the video (after the last car that can be seen in the vid).

Yes eye30, what they did in this video was just wrong

They went overtaking where the line is solid and where you must not overtake. The "dashed" line that can be seen from 0:15 on means, that only oncoming drivers may overtake and not "us".

Well, that was my point. What's the line for? Decoration?

In UK there are 2 lines down the centre of the road, there is never just 1 unbroken line, either both unbroken or 1 unbroken and 1 broken.

Okay in this case it was the 129 issue. Regarding the lines. We mostly have only one broken or solid line - As you can see in the begining of the video. Sometimes there are two (as in this case).

Back in the '70's Paul Hogan did a skit on not being told what to do by a traffic light. It was very funny & I think these drivers must have seen the same show, after all, it's only paint.
