I have been looking for an excuse to take some more pics of my new car, so despite the muddy sides from the sand on the roads I took a few pics while I was up north in 100 Mile House.  On the drive back to Vancouver I decided to take some videos of the beautiful trip.  I love driving that canyon road (watch for the ice fishermen at 1:40 in the video).  I sped the footage up to make it more palatable.

I can see why you enjoy the drive .. and so pretty with the snow on the mountains and trees.. :goodjob:

Were you holding the camera and driving?  :sweating: Pretty steady if you were

  • Sorry, but my karma just ran over your dogma.
Wonderful, stochastic. Not the sort of thing we see here in sunny Queensland when we go for a drive. :goodjob: :goodjob: :goodjob:

Nice view.  :goodjob2: It reminds me driving in Taroko this summer, one side is mountain, the other side is Pacific ocean.  :sweating:

      Caloundra, Queensland.
Great drive. Theonly one I've done around that area is the one up to Whistler and I can see some similarities.
I'm interested in how the camera was held and aimed, too.
The side shots are held too long for it to be a helmet cam.

I remember the story of a dude being prosecuted for 300kph in a Ferrari I think. Maybe you should pull this video.  :whistler:

The video was fully hand-held, though I was often resting my palm on the steering wheel.

p.s. Surferdude, if you keep going north from Whistler on a nice summer day you'll see some of the most beautiful scenery around.  That video I'll try to capture one day as well.
