She obviously thought "I'm just going to Passat" :sweating: :sweating: :faint:

It was a Skoda

Is there a difference??
Does bring me nicely to the 1970's inspired Skoda commercial punchline
"You'll be surprised it's a Skoda"

this is what i've got mounted on my car when i used record some of my drives.  it has slots where the headrest poles go through & you can adjust the angle & tilt.  it uses a standard camera mount same as tripods so you can use any video camera (provided it has a tripod mount as well).  but it records a lot of the vibrations as well & any little bump on the road.

Shouldn't be too hard to make something like that.. I might have a shot at it (thanks for the idea Jabber) :goodjob:

I'd have to try and build some cushioning in to reduce the vibrations though..

Nice job jabber :D

... but it records a lot of the vibrations as well & any little bump on the road...

My passenger seat wobbles like fury when nobody's sat in it (which is almost all the time) so that solution wouldn't work for me  :-\

I'm going to align both front seats and see if I can find a flat piece of alloy long enough to go between the head rests on both seats.  If I get it to work I'll post some pix...

If I get it wrong we could be decapitated  :sweating:  Small price to pay for a good video i suppose  :whistler:

couldn't you just mount the bracket like jabbers to the drivers seat to stop the vibrations.

how about a 20mm square aluminum post drilled with holes to match the poles of both headrests? i think this would be more secure ... less chances of any decapitation as well  :whistler:

i remember getting this bracket from Jaycar quite a few years back and i've just been through their online catalogue and looks like they don't carry it anymore.

I have some aluminium angle floating around. I'll have a play some time this week  :winker:

I was thinking the same thing.. mark and drill holes for both front headrests  :goodjob:

Might have a wingnut with the right thread for the tripod mount in the camera..

This should work fine with your i-phone (up to 65mm width). And it does not allow any vibrations.
