Why don't you just call yourself a "Broadcasting Military IT Engineer that also mentors"? You EW people always made things so difficult!!

I work for a company that makes Broadcast Audio / Visual electronic equipment. I'm an electro accoustic engineer and work in the repair / test department. We supply and to Sky, BBC, ITV Channel 4 and many other television and radio stations accross the world. If they need support they phone me as most companies no longer have there own engineers.

By the way, no need to fit shallow speakers in the i30. I have now fitted Pioneer TS-E1702is in the front and the slightly less expensive TS-E1702i in the back. I originaly upgraded to shallow fit speakers after reading other posts on this forum.

I think that would have been a very interesting and fulfilling job. Getting out and about, meeting lots of people (who, on the whole would be very appreciative)

I am a Customer Service Manager for a European telecommunications company. My background is telecommunications engineering and IT engineering. When things break or stop working and the normal processes fail to resolve the incident I step in to sort it out. I also take care of problem management, the analysis of what went wrong. This might involve implementation of corrective actions to ensure it does not happen again or reduce restoration time because we learned something. Its a bit like cat herding sometimes.
