Hello all you other wise travellers
Had our CW CRDI for about 4 weeks now and enjoy driving once more!
Moving from a Nissan Nomad van (dual fuel) of the last 10 years (work and family vehicle), it is such a pleasure to downsize, to hear each other talk in the car above road and engine noise, to get better economy than the Nomad on Gas, and to still fit a heap of other gear in for work... though I have bought a custom trailer to help with larger loads.
If the gutsy torque experienced in recent hilly terrain continues when I'm towing the trailer, I'll be one happy camper.
I'll post photos when the towbar is fitted.
I was a bit concerned, along with others in the forum, about the puff of blue smoke on cold starts and so I took it back to the Melb. dealer and I'll post their response in the forum engine section.
Looking forward to sharing more good things with you all about these amazing little vehicles.
