Exerlent Mick, i was reading in paper about the new i30 CRdi 6 speed auto average 5.9/100k so your 4 speed doing well. my 6 speed seems to average about the same economy as my old 5 speed, just the 6' speeds motor pulls much smoother will pull from 1,000rev part throtle with no fuss at all and pull strong from 1,500rev it's bone stock as it came from factory & staying that way. just i change oil every 5,000, will change fuel filter every 30,000k oil filter every 10,000k air cleaner every 30,000k. will be keeping this car long term seems perfect to me.
they say new i30 has 95KW but still 260NM Torque my car has 260NM Torque or supposed to have i can't see new one feeling much difference as i never notice HP or KW as much as i notice Torque. so no torque increase no thrust increase but they quoted 5.9/100k 6 speed auto 6 speed manual they must have got it wrong? there is a 1.4 turbo petrol too but that would drink premuim fuel. i'll stick with what i got.
