Does anyone suggest any particular brand of earmuffs?
I have Goodyear Efficient Grip Performance tyres on mine and I'm very pleased with them; quiet, grippy in wet and dry and slightly better fuel consumption. Worth a look if you can find them.
Alan, I'm sure you can convince them to give you 4 brand new tyres so you can act as test pilot..
Bit off topic, but going back a while, when most of us did not have money, raising kids, paying mortgages, we had to buy re tread tyres for ye olde family jalopy, well I did. Anybody remember that?
I'm happy to recommend Continental's Comfort Contact 5's, Lester.....They are noticeably quieter and I find they grip well in the wet.... http://www.continental-tyres.com.au/www/tyres_au_en/themes/car-tyres/compact-class-tyres/comfort-contact-5.htmlDave got to drive my car recently so perhaps he can give you some feedback too.....
