Phone is a  Samsung galaxy s2. Pairs ok and downloads phone book automatically once prrmission given but isseems to empty when the  engine is switched off. Subsequently, when csr is next used, if call is initiated using steering wheel button , the display says  the phone book is empty and asks for a download......which it does again.
Very perplexing. Any ideas

Sounds like a memory store operation may be being missed out, or a fault is preventing memory retention on switch off.

Robin,if you have the GD can't help you,but at least your phonebook auto downloads,I have to enter all of mine manually and if I wish to use all the storage spce it takes forever, but once I have hit the save button each enter all the numbers stay in there, well until some zoob disconnects the battery. It'll be something simple have you asked your dealer.
