Many months ago I was in a small mishap with my '10 CW thanks to an illegally parked truck that resulted in slightly cracking the DS headlight assembly. Well, thinking that I could get a genuine Hyundai replacement part for cheap, soon after I ordered a used one from an ebay seller in the US for under 100USD, likely a takeoff from a totaled car. Well, the headlight came with family visiting from the US and it looked in perfect condition. I figured I would wait until the winter or when a bulb blew to change it. Unfortunately, once I got around to it and I removed the old one I realized I had made a mistake.
-Part from the US uses a different lamp (I think H11 instead of H7) which seems to produce a different beam pattern (very harsh cutoff)
-No way to mount the leveling motor to it
- interior plastic has silver 'floor' instead of black
Other difference is that they seem to be slightly differently constructed, but not in a way that affects the shape.
Anyway, I'm just putting this out there so others don't make the same mistake.
I'm also now wary about ordering crossbars from the US (around $120) just in case there are subtle differences that make them incompatible.
